I guess that it is worth the Arsenal manager being at the World Cup finals in Brazil as a TV pundit after all, as long as some of the Arsenal transfer rumours linking us to some of the stars out there turn out to be true that is. One of the latest involves the international team mate of Arsenal’s young Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell.

The Gunners are already said to be looking closely at the Colombia keeper David Ospina and the Mexico number one Guillermo Ochoa, who was eliminated after the habitual cheat Arjen Robben won his side a lat minute penalty. Now, according to a report in The Independent, Keylor Navas has joined them on our list of transfer targets.

The 27-year old has not come from nowhere, though, because he played all but one game for La Liga’s Levante last season and was second only to Thibaut Courtois of Atletico Madrid in clean sheets. In fact, Atletico have already tried to sign Navas to replace the young Belgian who is returning to Chelsea.

His release clause is just 10 million euros, which he is definitely worth, but with the other two World Cup keepers being available on free transfers, do you think Wenger should activate it?
