Arsenal CAN sign Lemar!! As long as Monaco get Alexis Sanchez
To be perfectly honest I do not think this would be the worst of outcomes for Arsenal in the ongoing transfer sage of our Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez, because seeing him sign for the French club AS Monaco would mean that he was not joining one of the rival Premier League clubs like Chelsea or Man City that are keen on him.
He would not even be strengthening a club with realistic Champions League trophy hopes like PSG, so as options go Monaco is not a bad one for Arsenal. The latest news reported by Metro is that the French Ligue 1 champions want us to include Alexis Sanchez in any deal to bring their young French winger Thomas Lemar the other way.
It seems clear that Arsene Wenger really wants Lemar and we know that Alexis can leave on a free transfer next summer, so with Lacazette already added to the striking options at Arsenal, is this swap deal a good compromise?
It’s a good(though not very good cos our attack will be very great if Sanchez is kept) deal. Apart from contract length, age too is not on Sanchez’s side and the fact that we’ve acquired lacazette will make us feel his absence less.
Good idea, not sure about Monacos rediculous valuations,I would want Lemar + £25 million for such a proven goal scorer as Sanchez.
