Arsenal close to beating Europe’s top clubs to SUPER striker signing!!
Arsenal are apparently close to sealing the deal for out first signing of the summer and it is a big one. The 21-year old Palermo striker Paulo Dybala is a seriously hot property and was expected to be the subject of transfer bids from some of the top clubs around Europe at the end of this season, but a Metro report claims that the Gunners could disappoint them by agreeing a deal with the Italian club this week.
The Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is apparently coming to London for talks with the top brass at Arsenal after we agreed to cough up their valuation of around £30 million for the talented young Argentinean. This would be a real coup for Arsene Wenger if it comes off, with Dybala being called the new Sergio Aguero thanks to his close control, pace, power and scoring prowess.
And he can also play anywhere along a front three as well as in an attacking midfield role, so he sounds like an ideal Wenger type of signing. Let’s hope we get the deal done soon.
