Only time will tell just how much Arsenal will benefit from the signing of the Czech Republic number one Petr Cech from Chelsea, but if the thoughts of Jose Mourinho and John Terry are anything to go by, it could be just the chess move that the Gunners needed to capture the king of our London rivals.

Mourinho was quite clear that he did not want this transfer to go through and would have blocked his experienced keeper from joining such a close rival if it was up to him, just as he did with the proposed Demba Ba transfer. Terry has played in front of our new signing for almost his whole club career and he thinks that Arsenal could have just gained ourselves 12-15 points with this transfer move.

Hopefully the two Chelsea men are right, because if so, then Arsenal will really be in a position to make the Blues regret letting us have Cech when we lift that Premier League trophy sometime next May. Just how much of a difference do you think this will make though, and what else does Wenger need to do to ensure that Arsenal become champions of England again?
