Arsenal French Star Striker Target Admits Premiership Dream

Amid rumours linking him to a possible move to Premiership clubs Arsenal or Newcastle United, Montpellier’s star striker Olivier Giroud declared that it has been his life-long dream to play for a big Premiership club.

The current top scorer in France’s League 1, Giroud came into Wenger’s attention with his incredible eye for goal and is expected to go in with an offer in the summer or perhaps even during this month.

“I have always stated that it would be a dream to play in England,” said Giroud.

“But I am focused on Montpellier for now because I owe them a lot. I don’t want to think about too many things at once.

“We are all hoping to play in Europe and the next couple of months will be a turning point in our season.

“My personal objective is to score 20 goals and end the season on top of the scoring charts.

“I also want to go to the Euros with the French team, so it is only right that I aim to finish above the other forwards.”

Wenger is also keeping tabs on Germany’s top striker Lukas Podolski who is also one of the possible candidates for a summer move, but the Frenchman has declared that his objective is to transfer another striker during January who can stay at the club on a long term period and help Wenger even after Henry will leave.
