Arsenal go for Gabriel as Bellerin replacement at Swansea

I hope that it works out for Arsenal in our must win away game against Swansea City today, and with a strong Arsenal team including big players like Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Laurent Koscielny, Mustafi and Cech you would think that the right back position should not have too much effect on the outcome.

But it just shows how well young Hector Bellerin has been playing that a lot of Arsenal fans are worried about how well the side will cope without him in Wales today. One of the biggest parts of Bellerin’s game is the attacking side and the way he gets forward to assist and create overlaps with whoever is playing on that right flank.

In place of the Spaniard today Arsene Wenger has gone for the defensively minded Gabriel so we will definitely lose some attacking threat. On the other hand we should be very strong at the back so the big question for the Gunners is whether the other attacking players will be too much for the struggling EPL side.

One thing we could certainly do with is a better start than we have seen from Arsenal in the last two games away to Bournemouth and then Preston in the FA cup.
