Arsenal Injury News Update – More good news

Good news are coming from the Emirates Stadium where Arsene Wenger confirmed the fact that Arsenal’s most important players are reaching full fitness.

With Ramsey now back in full swing and no other new injuries, Wenger’s positive about the comebacks of Santos, Wilshere, Diaby and Coquelin. Santos has a big chance to play against Everton, while the other three are approaching full fitness despite Wenger’s attempts not to rush them.

“Jack’s scan was positive. There is no problem, it is normal evolution and he is continuing his progression.

“It is too early to fix a date, though. We go day by day with him.”

“Andre (Santos) played 60 minutes (for the reserves on Wednesday) with no problem. Overall we are getting our players back so that is positive.

“Abou (Diaby) might play in the reserves next week at Liverpool. That game is on Tuesday night.

“Francis (Coquelin) is two more weeks away from fitness.”

Perhaps the most awaited return is that of midfielder Jack Wilshere, who has yet to mark an appearance for the Gunners this season after suffering an injury in the preseason. Jack was expected to return in February, but a new stress fracture set his recovery back and now with only 10 games to go in this Premier League season he’s still not ready for action.
