Arsenal Keep Arshavin To Lure Russian Star

Arsenal will have to fight Manchester United for the signature of what’s rumoured to be the best prospect of the Russian football in the last few years.

21-year-old attacking midfielder Alan Dzagoev admitted that he would accept a move to the Premiership if an offer would come his way, and with Andrey Arshavin in the team Wenger has the best chance to snatch the youngster.

“I want to move forward as a player. I have heard many rumours about my future but they are not true.”, said Dzagoev amid rumours linking him to a switch to Serie A.

“If I ever have to choose another club, I would prefer a move to Spain or England – the two biggest leagues in the world.”

Arsenal are expected to go for him in the summer although a move during the January window is not out of the question with Wenger looking to improve on his squad after the last two weak matches. The Frenchman will have to do something to get the team back in form in time for the Champions League clash with Italian club Milan, and Russian wonderkid Dzagoev might be exactly what the Gunner midfield would need to start working once more.

  1. Sell Arhsavin FFS. the Russian youngster may never move to Arsenal anyway !

Sell Arshavin or move to a formation in which he can succeed (no OK that won’t happen, Arsene only has one formation)
