Things could soon be going from bad to worse for the Arsenal and Poland international keeper Wojciech Szczesny. After his two latest howlers between the sticks saw the Gunners slump to a damaging defeat away to Southampton on new years day, his manager revealed that it would be the summer signing David Ospina in goal for the visit of Hull City today.
The Colombian international is a top class keeper and if he impresses for Arsenal today, then Szczesny may find it very difficult to get back in the time. And that could even see him leave the Emirates in the summer, as one of the latest Arsenal transfer rumour in the Daily Express claims that Wenger is seriously considering a bid for the young German keeper Loris Karius, currently playing in the Bundesliga for Mainz.
Karius has been favourably compared to the great Manuel Neuer and is said to9 be set for a step up to a bigger club, probably at the end of this season. The Arsenal boss could even go for the young stopper in the January transfer window, so Szczesny has a big problem on his hands.
