Arsenal Leads Liverpool In The Race For Ba

12

After a few amazing appearances in the Premiership for Newcastle United, 26-year-old Senegal striker Demba Ba has caught the eye of numerous big clubs and Arsenal are rumoured to be going against Liverpool for the signature of the striker.

Ba has a £10 million release clause so it wouldn’t be hard for neither Arsenal nor Liverpool to meet the transfer fee, but according to Toon officials the striker won’t be leaving the club any time soon.

“We have talked to both the player and his agent and they have insisted that Demba Ba is happy here and has no intention of leaving.

“He was married the day before he arrived here and his family are settled on Tyneside.”

Liverpool wants to get Ba as a replacement for Suarez who will spend quite a while off the pitch, and Arsenal needs a replacement for Chamakh who hasn’t been finding his pace lately and is expected to leave either during this month or in the summer with Bordeaux and PSG on his tail.

The single questions which still needs answering now is whether Ba would make a good striking couple with Robin Van Persie who is accustomed to play next to a target man as he does the same at the Netherland national squad where he plays next to Huntelaar.

  1. Hi Arsene wenger and officials of Arsenal Fc board,we will like to see striker Ba partner with Robin in Uefa champion league and the English Premier league as well.Ten million pounds is not too much for the third richest club in the world like Arsenal. Please try everything possible to sign Ba and Podoski as well. Even if Arsenal will have to pay fifteen million pounds for striker like Demba Ba,the player is worth that amount as he is a born goal scorer that will help Robin Van Persie with the Goal scoring burden.

  2. 8a is the type of player we need, he’s big, strog and has an eye for goal and then his relativlly cheap at 10 million, so pls my wenger react fast, make a move.

  3. Demba Ba, a great striker, i ask myself, why didn’t Wenger go for him in the summer? i was very impressed with him when he played for west ham, he would have been a great striker for us…but forget seeing him in an Arsenal shirt ..so letme laugh at that HA HA HA !!

  4. Is a good player,i tink arsenal need him,RVP &BA upfront wil be a superb striking force.pls wenger go 4 him.

  5. Pls Mr Winger. I think Ba & Podolsky will b a very good signing bcause they all posess all the qualities we need in Emiret, pls go for them. I’ll remain Gunners til i die!

  6. this is mr wenger, please i understand why you want me to sign new players…no i cant…it’s not cheap enough.
    There we go again.

  7. Demba Ba is good. He was good last season as well. We could have had him for free at the before this season started but as usual we act (AFC) like sheep and make a move when all the other clubs make their move. Its to late now, we wont be signing any rated player in this transfer period other than T Henry.
I cant understand why we did not sign Scott Parker and Dember Ba.
We had nothing to loose annd alot to gain.
The leaders at AFC needs to wise up quickly because right now it’s looking like another dry year.

  8. Mr. prof Wenger, why do u love it when u break our heats? we have a good chance of doing well in the champs league only if u use this transfer window wisely. why are u always reluctant to spend?
