Arsene Wenger always rotates his Arsenal team for the Capital One Cup, as the League Cup is known in it’s current form. But the fact that it is a Premier League club that is coming to the Emirates this evening means that the boss has still got to select a fairly strong side to give the Gunners a good chance of going through to the next round.

So with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey needing a rest and with one eye on the north London derby with Tottenham on Saturday, here is the Arsenal starting line-up I expect from the Prof this evening. Some of the choices are fairly obvious, as we know that Abou Diaby is set to start, while the inclusion of Hector Bellerin and David Ospina seems obvious

Szczesny
Bellerin, Chambers, Koscielny, Gibbs
Diaby, Wilshere, Rosicky
Chamberlain, Akpom, Campbell

Koscielny and Gibbs will get a rest another time, when Nacho Monreal is back, and Wilshere missed most of the Villa game. So did Alexis Sanchez but I think Wenger will still save his legs for Spurs. So I hope that we get a good look at Joel Campbell and that Akpom can bring his great form for the under 21s into the first team. What do you think of this line-up?
