Arsenal fans have really had to brace ourselves and take some punishment this week, having three of our players sent off and losing first to the supposedly weakest team in the Champions League group and then having to listen to Jose Mourinho´s smug, hypocritical and blatantly untrue comments about Diego Costa after his cheating led to another defeat for the Gunners.

So we needed a bit of a pick me up, but instead the football gods decided to stick the boot in while we´re down and the seemingly innocuous knee problem picked up by Francis Coquelin at Stamford Bridge could see him miss the next four weeks of football, according to a Metro report.

If this is true the French midfielder will miss the notrth London derby with Spurs on Wednesday, the EPL games against Leicester, Man United and possibly Watford and the Champions League games with Olympiacos and possibly Bayern Munich.

Great, just what Arsenal need, especially after the woeful performance of Mikel Arteta this week in Zagreb. Worried? I know I am.
