It will not surprise many Arsenal fans to know that Arsene Wenger is facing a big selection headache going into a crucial game, because that has been pretty much the story of the last two years. The names of Jack Wilshere, Wojciech Szczesny and Olivier Giroud have been added to the list for the visit of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, so how will the manager line up his Gunners?

I think that Wenger will have in mind that a point is enough to see Arsenal into the knockout round and a win, even though it would be good for confidence, would still need a miracle in the last game for us to top the group. So being competitive and solid will be the watchwords rather than going oit all guns blazing.

Assuming that Welbeck is fit, I think he will be the lone striker and Sanogo will cover if he is out. I’m sure the boss would love to rest Alexis Sanchez after he looked a bit leggy at the weekend, but he is so important for us at the minute that he will start, with the Ox on the other side and Ramsey and Cazorla in front of Arteta. And I expect Koscielny to come straight back in to the line up to replace Monreal.

Martinez
Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs
Arteta
Alexis, Ramsey, Cazorla, Chamberlain
Welbeck

Can this Arsenal team get a result against Dortmund?
