Despite the reports that Arsenal is the preferred destination of the Swedish international striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as long as his current club PSG do not decide to extend his contract at the end of the season, it does not necessarily mean that the brilliant striker will be playing for the Gunners next season.

Ibra has already talked up a move to the English Premier League but Arsenal are not the only club that would like him by any means. One of the others is the Manchester United of Louis van Gaal that is currently fighting to get into the top four and gain a place in the Champions League for next year.

And after the Daily Star reported that they were planning to offer the striker a mega money deal worth around £250,000 a week to play at Old Trafford, we can only hope that they fail and that Zlatan does not want to lower himself to playing in the Europa League.

Even if he does not fancy that I think that Arsenal would have to get somewhere near that wage offer and I am struggling to see Wenger and the board agreeing to it. So are we set to miss the transfer of Ibrahimovic to our big spending EPL rivals?
