Arsenal transfer rumours – Aurier, Rami and Fabianski

As the end of season approaches there are lots of Arsenal rumours flying around the web, and according to reports Wenger may well have a few deals wrapped up before the World Cup, despite his statement to the contrary.

First up Tutto Mercato Web report the Gunners have already agreed a five-year-deal with the 21 year-old right-back Serge Aurier as a replacement for the outgoing Bacary Sagna. the 21 year-old Toulouse defender has long been touted as an Arsenal target but now the Italians are reporting it as a done deal…..

The Mirror says that Arsenal are also interested in the French centre-back Adil Rami. This would only make sense if Thomas Vermaelen was definitely on his way out, but Wenger recently said that the Belgian must stay until the end of his contract which still has two years to run….

The Telegraph reckons that the new Swansea manager Garry Monk is keen for Lukasz Fabianski to be his first signing, although Michael Vorm may not be very happy with that news. The 29 year-old Pole has let his contract with Arsenal run down so he can search for first team football before its too late, but most early rumours indicated that Fab would be moving to the Bundesliga with Schalke. I wonder if he would prefer to stay in the Premier League instead. He is certainly one of the better free transfers available this summer….
