Arsenal fans have got used to the manager doing things his way and often seemingly against the general consensus of what he needs to do at certain times, so I would not be totally surprised to see the Frenchman stick with his usual policy of making big chances in the early rounds of the cup competitions.

This time, however, I think that Arsene Wenger will react to the situation and the fact that Arsenal are in dire need of a pick me up and a good result. So I am expecting a strong line up for the Capital One cup game against Tottenham this evening.

Gabriel is able to play after the FA dropped his red card, and with Mertesacker available again I expect those two to start, with Debuchy and Gibbs coming in to the full back positions. Coquelin and Cazorla are out and I think Arteta will come in with Ramsey alongside him to replace them.

I think it will be changes in the front line as well. with Giroud coming back into the middle and with the Ox and Campbell in the wider positions. That leaves the crucial number 10 role but there are not too many options there with Wilshere and Rosicky on the injury list. So I think Ozil will keep his place as Wenger needs this win badly.
