Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger set eyes on Real Madrid’s teenage midfielder Jose Rodriguez. At the age of 16, the Spaniard already has a big number of English Premier League teams trailing him, and giving that his chances to play at Real Madrid any time soon are very slim due to all the talent at the Spanish club, the star midfielder could benefit from a transfer to the Emirates Stadium .

Rodriguez is a Real Madrid product who is already a national team player, being in Spain’s U-17 squad on a regular basis. The best option for the midfielder at the moment would be joining Arsenal. The Gunners could use having the the Spanish wonderkid in the squad given the current injury situation at the club, and Rodriguez might also have a chance to get into the first team’s squad despite his very young age.

Manager Arsene Wenger will surely follow the transfer possibilities regarding the Spaniard midfielder. Arsenal is also in the fight for Real Madrid’s 16-year-old striker Jose Pozo, but Chelsea is leading the fight for him. The Gunners are in a big need of a high class midfielder at the moment, but Rodriguez is not really the man for that. He’s still much too young to be seen as an escape route, but he could prove a real asset for the future if the Frenchman will indeed decide to buy him.
