Arteta – Arsenal have no fear about winning the Cup

The veteran Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta does not think that the Gunners’ nine-year long wait for a trophy will affect the players mindset ahead of todays FA Cup Final against Hull City at Wembley today.

And the Spaniard is not happy that Jose Mourinho accused Arsene Wenger of being a Specialist In Failure, especially after his manager’s long record of success with Arsenal. Arteta said: “For some people success is only to win a trophy and nothing else matters.

“But analyse everything Arsene Wenger has done for this club, and if you think he is a failure, then I have a different opinion.

“I see what he does every day to look after this club.

“I don’t like it when someone criticises my team-mates, the staff, the manager, the club.

“When they are right maybe you can accept it. Everybody makes mistakes. But when he says something in a certain way I don’t like it.

“Everybody is big and mature enough to question himself about if they are good enough and if they are doing everything they can.

I don’t think you need to decide how good someone is because they have won a trophy.

“Is this a chance we have to take? Absolutely. We don’t need to convince anyone that we can do it. But we are very determined to win it.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to win a trophy. We have fought hard to get to this position and we don’t want to waste it.

“I can’t sense any fear. What I sense is a big determination.

“The players can’t wait for Saturday to come and to be on that pitch.”

That day has now come, and it is time for Arsenal to shut up Jose Mourinho and all the other pundits that would love to see our beloved team get beaten again. Come on Mikel, shove his words back in his face!!!
