After a very successful Euro 2012 campaign, everybody was expecting Arsenal’s second string striker Nicklas Bendtner to be on his way from the London side, especially given the fact that in the last season and a half he hasn’t been getting virtually any time on the pitch.

Linked with the likes of Juventus, Galatasaray and AC Milan, Bendtner was looking to be one of the first transfers Arsenal was going to make, but for some reason that didn’t happen.

The striker’s agent stated right after the Euros that Nicklas is a hot asset on the transfer market, but it seems that all attempts to bring the Danish star have grown to a halt, as the striker is still with Arsenal now with only a couple of days left before the transfer window closes shut, blocking his way out of the Emirates.

If newspapers have it right, Bendtner is ready to go for a mere fee of £5million, and Juventus or AC Milan are still highly interested in bringing him abroad. The Milanese lost Ibrahimovic and are looking to revamp the squad after a poor start of the season in which they lost the Italian Superleague and the first match of the season, so Nicklas might be heading to Italy soon. Do you think that Wenger should try to keep him given Arsenal’s goalless debut?

  1. yes to me i think wenger should give him his chance on the pitch and he will deliver as what we need. buy lsco and capoue,or M’vila give bendtner chance pls to wenger

  2. I think bendtner is stalling on everything so that he will end up leaving for nothing. that way he can command a bigger salary or a big signing on fee.

  3. I think we should give him chance and starting with him in the next game. Remember he gave us some important goals and points when we desperatelly need it. Not so long ago he gave us hope but in return he get only the mockings from us. When RvP injured he is only one stood up and fight for us even he is not at his best but he gave everything. Now two games no goals isn’t that obvious? we need him!!!

  4. His attitude stinks I would rather give the likes of Park a start than B52.

I would be very disapointed if we didnt sell him now, He collects a decent 52k a week in wages & his contract only ends in 2014.
