BOOM! Arsenal make THREE signings! What next?

If two of the three players that had signed Arsenal contracts this week were the Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez and the German midfield star Mesut Ozil then this news reported by the Arsenal website would be even better for us Gooners.

To be fair to the club and Arsene Wenger though, the three players that we have tied up to new contracts are very important members of the squad and so to hear that they have committed their futures to Arsenal is definitely good news.

Laurent Koscielny is definitely our best defender and has become one of the best and most reliable in the Premier League and the world over the last few years. Francis Coquelin has gone from an academy graduate who was not going to make the grade to a top class defensive midfielder who is one of the first names on the team sheet. As for Olivier Giroud, the big centre forward has really come back with a bang after losing his place to Alexis in the first half of the season.

Now that Arsenal have secured the future of the three Frenchmen, will Wenger hit the transfer market to add some quality and cover to the squad and give the Gunners a fighting chance of taking the title?
