BOOM! Arsenal rocked as Wenger confirms Vardy transfer snub

There has been a growing sense coming from the football media that Arsenal would not get their man, and the fact that the Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy did not accept the offer to move to Arsenal before heading off to Euro 2016 with Roy Hodgson and the England squad was always a worry. He would have been perfect for Arsenal, especially as at that price Wenger would not need to win multiple jackpots at the online casinos at Automatenherz.com to pay for him! And no Automatenherz is not the new German centre back we are looking for as a partner to Laurent Koscielny, although I wonder if we are still looking for a player in that area of the pitch.”

Wenger was willing to gamble 20 million pounds on Vardy helping Arsenal to next years Premier League title, and although we all like to watch traditional sports and to bet on them, we would be trembling at the thought of putting such a large amount on one single punt!

But it now looks like this gamble is not going to come off. Vardy was asked about his future again after helping England to come from behind to beat Wales on Thursday and although the player refused to shed any new light on the subject, Arsene Wenger has told the media that he is almost sure that Vardy will still be playing for the surprise Premier League champions next season, as reported by The Mirror.

The Arsenal boss is also in France where he is doing media work at the tournament, and hopefully working hard to find alternative options up front for the Gunners in the wake of the England forward’s transfer snub.

Wenger said, “Jamie Vardy is, at the moment at Leicester and from what I know he will stay at Leicester.”

Unless there is a big change it appears that Arsenal will not get our man, so what now for Wenger? We have been linked with other players like the Spain striker Nolito and the Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic but I think we need to act fast in order to get someone in quickly before they are snapped up by other clubs.
