There is always plenty for Arsenal fans to worry about and just recently there have been a couple of reasons to be concerned about one of our best players Alexis Sanchez. But today it appears that these are two things that we can stop stressing about at least.

Some Arsenal transfer rumours have been suggesting that the Chile international star is a transfer target of the Italian club Juventus and also that our striker wanted to make the transfer to the Serie A champions. The Sun has now revealed that the sporting director of Juventus himself, Giuseppe Marotta, has now admitted that they have had their transfer interest slapped away by Arsenal.

Apparently they offered well over £30 million for the Chilean after being told his price but Arsene Wenger then rejected it out of hand, so it looks like we will not be losing the striker after all. There was also a concern about his fitness for the start of Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge though, after he picked up an ankle injury in the Copa America final.

That fear has also been eased by an Evening Standard report in which Sanchez himself declares it is much better along with a picture showing all the swelling and bruising to be gone.

Great news Gooners!
