Bordeaux confirm they want Arsenal striker, but can they afford him?

Despite Chamakh’s recent love statement for Arsenal when he declared that he refuses to leave the ship and move on, his former club Bordeaux declared that the Morocco striker is still welcomed at the club if he’s ready to take a wage cut.

Bordeaux’s president Jean Louis Triaud declared that he’s eager to see Chamakh come back to the club that sold him to Arsenal in the first place.

“I have spoken with Marouane and told him that he is welcome at Bordeaux and that we still have room for him,” Triaud told RMC.

“The main problem will be financial because he has tasted the salaries in England and Arsenal will ask for a fee.
“Chamakh has told me that if he was to return to France, it would be at Bordeaux.”

Following Chamakh’s smoking incident Arsene Wenger wasn’t too happy about his situation at Arsenal, and the French manager declared that the striker’s situation has not yet be decided and that he might still leave in the summer despite his wishes to go on with the club.

With Podolski already a Gunner and another striker due to sign this summer, Chamakh’s situation at the club is not looking too bright.

  1. Chamakh needs to go
He’s a load of crap, absolute waste of money
He’s here for the free ride, not bothered about being a sub as long as he gets paid
    Utter crap
