Delight as Arsenal secure SUPER Spaniard!!
Arsenal fans who may have been worried about the comments from Arsene Wenger recently about the squad being strong and deep already can take heart from the words of one of the best players in that squad. Because our Spanish international Santi Cazorla is clearly expecting some top transfer action at the club this summer.
The little magician was speaking to ArsenalFanTV and was asked about his own future after various Arsenal transfer rumours this year suggested that he could be tempted to return to La Liga, with current Spanish champions Atletico Madrid one of the clubs apparently interested. But Cazorla clearly believes that the boss is planning some key signings to push Arsenal on to the really big trophy success we all crave. That is probably a key part of Cazorla´s decision to stay with the Gunners.
He said, “Yes, we want to improve in the Premier League and the Champions League.
“I think if we play how we’ve been playing in the last 10 games then we have a great opportunity.
“I think we’ll sign new players, the team will be very strong and of course we want to win the Premier League and the Champions League.”
So not only will Arsenal be welcoming some more top quality to the club, we will be keeping the super Spaniard that is Santi Cazorla. Does this mean glory days ahead for us Gooners?
