This Arsenal transfer rumour was supposed to have been a done deal a week or two ago, but there have been some recent complications as the Gunners tried to complete the signing of the very promising young Polish player Krystian Bielik.

The Bundesliga club Hamburg have thrown their lot in and tried to hijack the deal, which was apparently being held up as Arsenal and his current club Legia Warsaw could not agree on the transfer fee. However, the defensive midfielder now looks like becoming a Gunner very soon as a Metro report claims that we have finally agreed terms and had our latest transfer bid for the 17-year old accepted.

The report reveals that the final amount is thought to be around £2.4 million, which is quite a bit more than the £1.6m we wanted to pay, but in modern football it is still a meagre sum and if Bielik fulfils half the promise he is thought to have, then Arsene Wenger will have played another blinder.

And once this transfer for the future is out of the way, do you think that Wenger will finally get going on the transfers that Arsenal need for the present? Perhaps a defender Arsene?

  1. For God sake, why don’t you get the truth for once from reliable sources before telling us wrong information?
