Higuain to hand in transfer request to seal Arsenal move?

It is being reported this week that Arsenal have already put in a transfer bid of over £40 million to the Serie A side Napoli for their Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain. While I do not believe that Arsene Wenger would offer that much for a player he refused to pay less than that for just two years ago, it does not mean that the Gunners do not want to sign him.

And according to a Metro report, sources from Italy are saying that Higuain is really keen on making the transfer to north London. Apparently he has told his brother and agent to make sure Napoli do not obstruct his Premier League dream, but if he is serious then he must surely hand in a transfer request.

The Napoli president is a nightmare to do business with and has already spoken about crazy numbers over £60 million for the player. So if Higuain has any hopes of playing for Arsenal, will he meet Wenger somewhere in the middle and make his wishes crystal clear?
