Hull are “disappointed with one point” against Arsenal – Wenger out!

Arsenal now find themselves 11 points behind League Leaders Chelsea after their 5th draw from their first 8 games, but as the Gunners only equalised in the 91st minute the Hull City manager Steve Bruce is upset that his team only came away with a point.

He said after the game: “The players are disappointed because they’ve gone close again and the frustration is that it’s happened four times to us now this season, conceding late on,”

“But we are disappointed because we could only take a point from Arsenal.

“I’ve been here before with teams where they’ve played the reserves and we’ve been beaten by six or five and gone away with our tails between our legs. We’ve done extremely well to get a point.

“In the last six months we have played Arsenal twice, taken them on twice — it took extra-time for them to beat us in the Cup final and to come here and play just shows what strides we have made.”

Bruce may think that this shows how good Hull have become, but I think it shows how far ARSENAL have regressed! There are no teams in the Premiership scared of playing us any more. If we can’t beat Palace, Tottenham or Hull AT HOME with all the possession in the world then there is something seriously wrong. The buck stops at Wenger…

  1. In Wenger we trust… always. Seasons still younh. Wont be surprised if these naysayers praise AW if we win the next 2 matches. #COYG

  2. Should hull tactics be your problem…they can decide to line up all there players in front of the goal post…arsenal is poor …period
