Joel Campbell has had enough of Arsenal

The Costa Rica star Joel Campbell was mightily impressive while out on loan at Olympiakos last season and even more so at the World Cup in Brazil where he helped his country to progress out of the Group Stages at England’s expense, but now, according to a report in the Mirror, he has had enough of waiting to get chance in the Arsenal first team.

The report states: “Joel Campbell is ready to leave Arsenal in January after getting fed-up at a lack of first team chances.

World Cup star Campbell was furious after being axed from Arsenal’s first team squad for the games with Burnley and Anderlecht at the Emirates.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger brought back Yaya Sanogo into the squad and put him on the bench ahead of Campbell who did not even make the 18-man squad.

Campbell has left his team mates and management in no doubt that he is fed-up and angry with the latest snubs.

considering the amont of injuries and out of form players that are consistently picked by Arsene Wenger it is nothing short of criminal to not even pck Campbell as a reserve at the moment. Wenger seems to be deliberately punishing the youngster after he tried to engineer a new loan to Benfica in the summer, where at least he would have gained some minutes on the pitch.

Come on Wenger. Arsenal NEED Campbell!

  1. Mr Wenger does not know what he is doing anymore. He is clueless just like his players and needs to be sacked. Campbell, sorry boy but you deserve much better than what you are getting at Arsenal at the moment. As long as you are not french you’ll never be selected before stupid french players we have at Arsenal.

I feel that players who are skilful are being wasted on the bench and I see Sanchez leaving soon rather than later
