Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal fans will be hoping that the rest of the current season stays relatively injury free for us, ot at leasy does not see many more Arsenal stars join the likes of Santi Cazorla and Mohamed Elneny. We have had more than our fair share to be honest, and even the FA cup win over Lincoln City saw another Arsenal player pick up a problem with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain forced off because of his hamstring.

However, the news reported by The Telegraph about the injury to the Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane should prove to be very good news for Arsenal and our hopes of finishing above our north London rivals yet again.

The ankle injury the forward picked up in their FA cup win at Millwall is thought to be very similar to the one that he got early on this season and that kept him out for about seven weeks. The spuds are waiting on a scan but their main man could miss almost the whole of the rest of the season.

They are currently in second with Arsenal fifth but there are only six points between us and the Gunners have a game in hand. Another St. Totteringham’s day on the cards Gooners?
