Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey was delighted about the way the Gunners played against Norwich and thinks that they can still close the gap on Manchester City and enter the title race before it’s too late.
“So many players were making runs forward and getting into dangerous positions,” Ramsey told Arsenal.com “On the whole we played some really good stuff. “
“It’s encouraging that we created all those opportunities – this is a run we want to continue. “
“We created a lot of opportunities and could have scored a lot more than we did. But I thought we did really well, looked solid at the back again and we’re on a good run of form.”
“We have to go into every game now believing we can win, progress and hope that other teams might drop some points,” he added. “Hopefully then we can close the gap.”
Currently Manchester City is 12 points in front of Arsenal, but they still have to play some very difficult games and they will surely drop points. Arsenal will meet City before the month comes to an end and that will be the perfect moment to close the gap if possible.
