Arsenal’s young offensive midfielder hot-shot Chuks Aneke made his breakthrough in Arsenal’s reserve team at only 18 years of age, and he also marked his first ever debut for the senior Gunners in the Carling Cup game against Shrewsbury Town. He came in as a 90th minute substitute in the club’s win against Shrewbury.
The English U-19 international offered a statement for Arsenal.com regarding his run this season.
“To be honest I haven’t really got an answer. We’ve got a lot of good players around the Club and a lot of quality so we should be winning games. For some reason it’s not going like that at the moment but I’m pretty sure that soon we will bounce back and start winning some games.”
