Arsenal very short of players for Fulham clash

Luckily for Arsenal they are going through a generous period of the fixture list and could probably afford to rotate a little bit, which is just as well as they have EIGHT players on the injury list ahead of this weekends fixture against Fulham.

Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky, Nicklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal, Abou Diaby and Thomas Vermaelen are all extremely doubtful for the game as Wenger explained: “Monreal looks a doubt for Saturday, a big doubt, because he twisted his foot on the kick. It is not the bruise, he turned and twisted the ligament. Rosicky had surgery with a general anaesthetic for a broken nose in two places. With a mask he may be available, but we have to monitor it closely,”

Should Wenger Still Trust Diaby?

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger seems to trust French International Abou Diaby to make a full recovery and become a main man for the squad after spending a huge time away from the field.

Diaby claims that he feels excellent and that he is looking forward for the season to start, but will he be able to recover the form which earned him the switch to Arsenal and so many French call-ups?

“That makes me feel confident. It is always nice to have the confidence of the manager

Will Diaby Be Able To Help Arsenal Soon?

Arsenal star midfielder Alex Song is hopeful that teammate Abou Diaby will be back soon playing for the Gunners after a very long spell off the pitch.

Abou was back for a short while in November but now is unavailable again and likely to return in February.

“Abou is a hard working player. He always gives his very best to be back.

“When he returned in November and starting jogging again, we could all see how happy he was.

“But it’s difficult for him and it’s difficult for us too, because we know that with him, we are even stronger.”
