Agent confirms Stunning midfield Star set for Arsenal transfer

This talented and tricky midfield star has already showed Arsenal fans what he can do, inspiring our Champions League opponents Anderlecht to being minutes away from a famous win over the Gunners in Belgium and then that remarkable comeback from 3-0 down at the Emirates.

And according to a Metro report we could soon be seeing the 20-year old strutting his stuff in the red and white of Arsenal. His agent Jacques Lichtenstein has made about the most obvious come and get me plea to Arsene Wenger over his young client, who he says has already outgrown his current club and is ready to step up into the big time.

Wenger in scathing attack on `joke` Arsenal critics

I don’t think that the former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson is going to be invited to the Arsenal christmas party this year and he may well have been struck off Arsene Wenger’s christmas card list, if he was ever on it in the first place.

Because Merson was perhaps the most vocal and outspoken of the critics that slammed the Arsenal players and Wenger’s tactics, or lack of them, in the Champions League clash with Anderlecht on Tuesday night. Merson, who called the Gunners `clueless` for the way we let in three let goals to hand the Belgians a point, was far from being a lone voice though. Others attacked individual players, calling Aaron Ramsey selfish because he seemed to be trying to score a goal rather than work for the team.

65 Today? Time for Wenger to retire from Arsenal!

Happy birthday Arsene – NOT! Surely when you get to 65 years of age you don’t need all this stress and strain, you could be heading for a heart attack if you carry on like this. Arsenal were incredibly lucky to win tonight against a useless Anderlecht side that has only won once in their last 20 Champions League games.

Never mind Arsene. What about us poor Arsenal fans who have been left with our hearts in our mouths at the end of nearly every single game, starting with the last minute equaliser at the Emirates against Crystal Palace on the opening day of the season.

Don’t worry Arsenal – Anderlecht have even BIGGER problems

It is understandable that many Arsenal fans are so concerned about the poor run of results so far this season, with just two wins from eight Premier League games and an early exit from the Capital One Cup, that there is very little confidence that the Gunners can come back to north London with three Champions League points tonight.

And this belief has not been helped by the injury to the Colombian reserve keeper David Ospina, meaning that rookie Martinez is set to make his Champions League debut because of Wojciech Szczesny being suspended. But even though Laurent Koscielny has joined Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, Mathieu Debuchy and others on the sidelines, Arsenal’s problems pale in comparison with those facing our opponents Anderlecht, as revealed in a Daily Star report.

Ramsey and Walcott hand Arsenal Champions League boost

The next two games for Arsenal in the Champions League, first away to the Belgian champions before Anderlecht come to the Emirates two weeks later, give the Gunners a fantastic opportunity to take back control of our qualifying group. And the chances of that happening have been given a massive double boost by Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott’s imminent return to the Arsenal team.

In his latest injury update on the website, Arsene Wenger explains that neither player is quite ready to be included in the squad to face Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday. But the Gunners should have Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky available to alleviate the loss of Mesut Ozil and hopefully help us get back to winning ways and moving back up the EPL table.

Matias Suarez admits he is ready to move on

Arsenal might be about to lose yet another transfer target, as Anderlecht’s striker Matias Suarez seems to be getting quite a few offers.

The 24-year-old has been watched by Wenger for over two seasons now, and a move always seemed to be in the cards despite the fact that it never actually took place. Now it seems that Suarez will move away from the Belgian side, be it to Arsenal or not.

According to the striker, German side Bayern Munich are the ones most interested in his services, and the feeling is reciprocal as he expressed his interest in joining the Bundesliga side.

Argentine Star Admits Arsenal Talks

Long term Arsenal target Lucas Biglia seems set to make the switch in the summer, as the Argentine declared that inquiries have been made by Real Madrid and Arsenal, but no official offer yet and that he’s still waiting to be contacted.

The Gunners are after a defensive midfielder and it has been thought that Biglia will be a top transfer target, but it seems that Wenger is much more interested in capturing M’Vila.

“It’s true that Real Madrid and Arsenal are interested in me,” the 26-year-old told

Lucas Biglia admits he is leaving Anderlecht….but not for Arsenal?

It seems that Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger would do better to secure the services of Rennes’ midfielder Yann M’Vila as soon as possible, because his other Arsenal transfer target Lucas Biglia has stated his interest in joining the Spanish league, thus snubbing interest coming from the Gunners and Liverpool.

The 26-year-old Argentine has been under Wenger’s attention for quite some time, but the defensive midfielder doesn’t seem too keen to make the move to Arsenal as Real Madrid is also interested in his services. I am sure if EITHER of these two arrived Arsenal fans would feel like they had won a jackpot from online scratch cards, but it now looks like Biglia is now out of the equation.

Arsenal face more competition for Matias Suarez

The Arsenal top target Matias Suarez is being highly scouted and likely to leave Anderlecht in the summer according to the club’s general manager.

Anderlecht’s striker has been a target for Arsene Wenger for almost two whole seasons now, and it was widely reported that Arsenal had secured a pre-contract agreement with Suarez for his arrival this summer, but it seems that is far from the truth right now.

“There are 15 clubs that are willing to put the money on the table for Suarez,” Anderlecht general manager Herman van Holsbeeck told Het Nieuwsblad.

Arsenal Wants A Defensive Midfielder. M’Vila Or Biglia?

Arsenal are looking for the services of Argentine defensive midfielder Lucas Biglia according to his agent Enzo Montepaone, and are expected to submit a bid for him in January.

The 25-year-old Anderlecht defensive midfielder is one of Arsenal’s targets according to his agent, but Fiorentina or Milan have the upper edge.

“I know that Fiorentina officials went to Belgium to have a look at him and that they spoke to Anderlecht about trying to sign him in January,” Montepaone told

“Interest from AC Milan? Yes, I can confirm that there has been in the past, but there has never been anything concrete.
