Argentine Star Admits Arsenal Talks

Long term Arsenal target Lucas Biglia seems set to make the switch in the summer, as the Argentine declared that inquiries have been made by Real Madrid and Arsenal, but no official offer yet and that he’s still waiting to be contacted.

The Gunners are after a defensive midfielder and it has been thought that Biglia will be a top transfer target, but it seems that Wenger is much more interested in capturing M’Vila.

“It’s true that Real Madrid and Arsenal are interested in me,” the 26-year-old told todomercadoweb.es.

Lucas Biglia admits he is leaving Anderlecht….but not for Arsenal?

It seems that Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger would do better to secure the services of Rennes’ midfielder Yann M’Vila as soon as possible, because his other Arsenal transfer target Lucas Biglia has stated his interest in joining the Spanish league, thus snubbing interest coming from the Gunners and Liverpool.

The 26-year-old Argentine has been under Wenger’s attention for quite some time, but the defensive midfielder doesn’t seem too keen to make the move to Arsenal as Real Madrid is also interested in his services. I am sure if EITHER of these two arrived Arsenal fans would feel like they had won a jackpot from online scratch cards, but it now looks like Biglia is now out of the equation.

Arsenal linked with top Argentinian midfielder

Arsenal are rumoured to have reignited their interest in Anderlecht’s midfielder Lucas Biglia, but with Spanish clubs Valencia and Villareal on his trail the midfielder’s transfer will be a tough nut to crack for Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger.

Anderlecht have already accepted the idea that they’re going to lose Biglia with so much interest coming in for him, but their biggest worry for the moment is that Arsenal’s plans are to also snatch their striker Matias Suarez.

Arsenal Wants A Defensive Midfielder. M’Vila Or Biglia?

Arsenal are looking for the services of Argentine defensive midfielder Lucas Biglia according to his agent Enzo Montepaone, and are expected to submit a bid for him in January.

The 25-year-old Anderlecht defensive midfielder is one of Arsenal’s targets according to his agent, but Fiorentina or Milan have the upper edge.

“I know that Fiorentina officials went to Belgium to have a look at him and that they spoke to Anderlecht about trying to sign him in January,” Montepaone told calciomercato.com.

“Interest from AC Milan? Yes, I can confirm that there has been in the past, but there has never been anything concrete.
