Arsenal target drops HUGE hint on January transfer!

While the Arsenal fans are understandably feeling a bit impatient and are keen for Arsene Wenger to get some good signings made in the January transfer window, I am sure that the manager and his back room staff are working hard to get the right players into the club.

Wenger has said before that he would not make transfers in the January window just for the sake of it, so he clearly does not like a stop gap solution, even if the Gunners are looking seriously stretched in a few key areas. One of those, clearly, is in defence, especially now that Mathieu Debuchy has dislocated his shoulder and looks set to miss the next three months of the season.

Arsenal given Green Light for January transfer bid

Maybe I should have said that Arsenal get the green and white light from this defensive target, because the player in question is Virgil van Dijk and his current club is the Scottish champions Celtic. But he might not be there for much longer after his recent words suggested that the 23-year old was keen on coming to play for Arsenal as soon as possible.

The Holland international centre back has only been playing for the Glasgow club since last summer but his outstanding performances have already drawn admiring interest from some bigger clubs around Europe, with Arsene Wenger also keeping track of him according to recent Arsenal transfer rumours.

Should Arsenal worry about Champions League play-offs?

As announced on the clubs official website, we have been seeded amongst four other teams in the Champions League qualifying round stage, which we will have to progress through to get to the group stage of next season’s European competition.
The draw isn’t till next week, but its already been made known that Arsenal have been seeded alongside Italian side AC Milan, German side Schalke, French side Lyon and Russian side Zenit, who Andrei Arshavin returned to this summer.

Good News! – Arsenal set to lose out on Wanyama!

Summer transfer target Victor Wanyama is reportedly gathering close interest from Premier League clubs Southampton and Cardiff City, supporting claims that Arsenal are set to lose out on the highly rated defensive midfielder.

Firstly I’m going to be honest and state I don’t think Wanyama is right for Arsenal. Not to mention the price tag of the ‘average’ player in my opinion, but the fact that the two other interested clubs in England are Cardiff and Southampton, isn’t exactly promising is it. If Wanyama is so great, why aren’t other big clubs looking at the Celtic man?

Did Arsenal Choose The Wrong Korean To Transfer?

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger announced infamously in the summer that the Gunners managed to make a striker transfer and then presented South Korean Chu-Young Park as being a great forward with huge potential.

Months have gone past, and even though everybody did expect the Korean to have a hard time adapting to the Premiership he is yet to have a line-up in a Premiership match, and we’re almost in January.

He played a few games with the team in the cups and even managed to score for the Gunners, but despite this he is still a substitute at best when it comes to Premiership games.
