Jack Wilshere won’t face Norwich tomorrow

Arsenal fans have been waiting 16 months to see Jack Wilshere return to some semblance of his former genius, and there were rumours that he could be returning to the bench against Norwich tomorrow after coming through the full 90 minutes against Chelsea reserves in midweek.

But Arsene Wenger has poured water on that idea and wants the England youngster to play some more time with the reserves before being risked in a proper competitive match. He said in todays press conference: “There are two aspects to the recovery,”

Rosicky confident of fitness in time for Euros

The Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky believes he will be fit to play for Euro 2012. After having problems with a calf injury, Tomas Rosicky firmly believes he will be fit to play for the Czech Republic at Euro 2012. The playmaker has not been training at full potential during his national team’s stay in Austria to prepare for the European championship, and will probably miss the friendly match against Israel.

Rosicky can also stay on the sideline in the last match before the Euro, against Hungary, as he doesn’t want to take any chances.

Wenger Delighted To Have Fit Full-backs

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that club full-back Bacary Sagna may take part of the Sunday match against Aston Villa.

With Villa set to give the Gunners a hard time, it may be the perfect venue for Sagna to get a taste of action after being sidelined for the whole first half of the season.

“Bacary is back in full training,” Wenger told Arsenal.com “Many players who are not specialist right-backs have been playing in this position so we are relieved to have him back.”
