Balotelli OUT of Arsenal clash and Liverpool have injury problems too!

Arsene Wenger will surely feel confident that Arsenal can come away from Anfield with all three points on Sunday. The manager was probably already rubbing his hands together at the prospect of adding to Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers misery this season, but will be relishing the trip to Anfield even more now.

Sky Sports have reported the good news, for Arsenal, that Rodgers will have to do without his summer signing Mario Balotelli for the clash with the Gunners. The Italy international has received a one match nan from the FA after his dozy post on social media managed to offend Jewish and black people alike.

Have Arsenal signed the wrong Saint in Chambers?

Although it has not been announced on the official Arsenal website yet, it appears that Arsene Wenger has wrapped up another first team transfer for the Gunners. The player who will soon be joining Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy in moving to the Emirates, is 19-year old Calum Chambers from Southampton, in a deal that will cost Arsenal around £7 million according to a report in The Mirror.

The reason I wonder whether Arsenal have gone for the right man from the Saints, is that the teenager is mainly known as a right back and there are at least two of his team mates at Southampton that I think would have been better signings for Arsenal.

Will these two Saints come marching in to Arsenal?

It seems like it is a Premier League feeding frenzy at poor old Southampton at the minute, and it looks like Arsenal are about to get in on the act. To be honest, I feel sorry for their fans, but the owners have changed and the new people do not seem to have the same football philosophy as the previous lot and seem to be wrecking the club after all the hard work it took to get them back from the brink.
