Seaman says Chelsea have just GIFTED Arsenal the title!!

The former Arsenal and England international number one, David Seaman, has had his say on the club´s new signing Petr Cech, and who is better qualified to judge the impact that a top class keeper could have on the Gunners and our chances of getting back to the top of English football and winning the Premier League?

As reported by Sky Sports, the Arsenal legend seems very surprised about the decision by Chelsea to allow the Czech Republic glovesman to join a direct rival, especially when the keeper position is one of the things that has been holding Arsenal back and stopping us from becoming champions of the Premier League.

Is Szczesny Back to his Best for Arsenal?

Arsenal have never really been great with goalkeepers ever since the departures of Seaman and Lehmann, trying to solve their problems with the likes of Almunia, Fabianski and more recently Wojciech Szczesny, however it’s the latter name that will be the focus of today, as the Polish international has spoken out about his time with the Gunners.

Szczesny has had a very up and down career with Arsenal, much like goalkeepers usually do because the team is often so dependent on them. As Arsenal go through their tough times so does Szczesny, whilst the more pleasing times of late, have largely been down to not just the addition of Ozil, and the inform players of Giroud and Ramsey, but also because of Szczseny’s much improved game.

Arsenal boss very pleased with Szczesny response

Wojciech Szczesny has had a difficult season at Arsenal, there are no two ways about it. In fact, it all started at Euro 2012 when he conceded a penalty and was sent off in the first game for Poland. He didn’t play again, which must have been a nightmare, especially as Poland were hosts.

The 23-year old also cost Arsenal some vital Premier League points, but his worst moment must have been allowing Blackburn to score, essentially ending our trophy dreams for another year. The last straw for Wenger came in the north London derby and he was dropped after that. His dad’s anti-Wenger and Arsenal rant did not help, but Szczesny has taken it all board and come back fighting.
