Thierry Henry has only joined Arsenal on a six-week loan but it seems it is going to be a VERY eventful period for the 34 year-old Arsenal legend.
First of all he had his fairytale introduction by scoring ten minutes after he came on to beat Leeds, then came the sweary altercation with an Arsenal fan after the defeat to Swansea, and now it looks like he will miss the crunch game against Man Utd through injury.
The Mirror has an “Exclusive” (really?) that Henry injured his calf in training yesterday and is “struggling to be ready” to get fit for Sunday’s game, which is a bit of a blow considering the options Wenger has for cover for Van Persie.
With Chamakh off to the Nations Cup it would seem that Wenger has no choice but to name Park as first substitute for the striker role, but Wenger is obviously unhappy about the Koreans confidence levels.
Can you imagine if Van Persie gets injured and Park has to face Man Utd on Sunday…..
Bring back the greatest striker in the world!
