Tough EPL finish means Arsenal MUST beat Man City

If Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal team are going to carry on the admittedly amazing record we have of qualifying for the Champions League every year, then there is a lo0t of work to be done and I truly believe it has to start this weekend.

You can look ahead to our weekend game in the Premier League and say that against a big club and a side in good form like Man City then a draw would be a decent result, but I cannot accept that. Arsenal have already used up our margin for error and although there are still plenty of games to play and the Gunners have games in hand on all our rivals bar Man United, another slip on Sunday would be terminal in my opinion.

Wenger will be hoping that some of our rivals drop points before we play, but they may well not and that add more pressure to us having the final game of the weekend. The problem for me is not the lack of time but the look of our run-in to the season.

Still to come for Arsenal are games against Leicester City, Tottenham, Man United and Everton, while Stoke away has not been good to us for a long time. So if the Gunners are to comeback and finish in the top four, we simply have to start with a win over Man City.
