During a very crowded period and a very difficult one injury-wise, Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has a small bit of good news for the club’s fans announcing that young hotshot Jack Wilshere might be available soon despite his terrible injury which kept him away from the pitch for a whole season.
“We have good news but Jack isn’t close to a comeback,” said Wenger.
“The last scan was good and he can start to jog again so he is on the way back but we have to be very cautious with him.
“I hope to have him back before the end of the season, but we go step by step.”
Wilshere didn’t get to play for Arsenal so far this season although he was close to make a comeback in February when another stress fracture set him back. Jack is rendered to be one of England’s Euro 2012 potential midfielders if he’ll be able to join the squad soon enough and get some of his mojo back.
Wilshere is the least of Wenger’s worries with Diaby, Vermaelen, Benayoun, Arteta and Song all out for the Milan game.
It’s going to be one of the toughest missions Arsenal ever had with Wenger leading them against the Italians given the current standings.
