Udinese’s Giampaolo Pozzo had an outbreak at the media warning them to stop speaking about possible transfers in January after everybody lit up regarding rumours of Udinese’s attacking midfielder Gabriel Torje to join Arsenal. The Romanian was just brought from Dinamo Bucharest in the summer and the Italian club is not willing to let him or anybody else go at the moment.

“I request for the local media to stop talking about the transfer window because we have absolutely no intention of or need to sell.”

“In fact, we only have the need to act on the market regarding possible acquisitions. My ambition is to make this club grow.”

Although fairly unknown at the moment by worldwide fans, Gabriel Torje is the best prospect of the Romanian football at the moment and he is highly compared to former Real Madrid and Barcelona Romanian glory Gica Hagi. He would have surely managed to find a spot between Arsenal’s young stars if given the chance, but the transfer won’t probably take place. What do you think?
