Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger is still searching for solutions for the attack and so far he has Podolski, Giroud and Moussa Sow on his list, but the Frenchman seems interested to revive interest for Real Madrid’s striker Benzema.
Arsenal wanted to transfer Benzema in the summer as well, but speculations fell short after Wenger found out the outrageous price Real Madrid was asking for the striker. This season Benzema seems to be preferred to Higuain at Real Madrid, but the striker seems interested in a possible transfer away from the Spanish club.
Truth be told, Benzema could never really regain the form he had at Olympique Lyon and even though he is scoring and doing a great job at the Spanish club. A move to the Premier League could reignite his scoring appetite and perhaps having Robin Van Persie by his side in attack the Frenchman will manage to provide splendid performances.
It’s the manager’s choice whether to go for Benzema or not. He is a skilled player, but he’s not cheap. The only thing Arsenal can hope is that if they do buy him he’ll be able to provide top performances at the club.
