Almunia staying but what about Fabianski?

Wojciech Szczesny has established himself as the Number One keeper at Arsenal, but who is going to be the long-term second choice behind him.

His fellow countryman Lukasz Fabianski repeatedly said before Christmas that he wanted to move on this month if he wasn’t given more first team chances at Arsenal, especially as wants to challenge Szczesny for the Polish international place as well.

But there have been NO rumours about him moving on since and with just a few days of the transfer window left he looks unlikely to leave now.

Manuel Almunia has been on the bench for the last few games while Fabianski has recovered from injury, but the Pole played in a reserve game against Fulham this week and is now back in contention.

The Spaniard has stated that he has no plans to leave Arsenal this month, and hasn’t even talked to Wenger about his (non-existent) future at the Emirates, but should Wenger keep him on the bench or bring Fabianski back into the squad even if he’s unhappy about being on the bench?
