Former Gunner gives Wenger PERFECT Arsenal transfer
It is one thing for Arsenal to identify the perfect player to go and get in the transfer market this summer, but another thing entirely for the board and Arsene Wenger, assuming it is the Frenchman who is going to manage the Gunners again next season, to actually beat all the other interested clubs to complete the transfer.
Having said that, it is not always easy to identify the right player, so maybe the former arsenal and France international star Robert Pires has done Wenger a big favour this week, as he has claimed in an interview with BWIN that he has found the perfect player for the boss to sign at the end of the current season, and that player is another Frenchman Antoine Griezmann.
Pires said, “Antoine Griezmann. He’s the perfect signing for Arsenal, but I know he’ll be very expensive. I think he’ll break the £100 million mark and I know Manchester United are keen to buy him, but for me, if I had the chance I would spend every penny I have on Griezmann. He’s one of the best players in the world not named Ronaldo or Messi.”
You feel that Arsenal have to be strong in the transfer window this summer, whoever is going to be in charge. If it is Wenger then you would think that he would be asking for the club to flex our financial muscles and spend a lot of thae money that his time in charge has given us, but can you see us competing with the likes of Chelsea, Man City and United to sign Griezmann?
