Arsenal WILL complete striker transfer – for THIS Guy!

It appears that the deal is already done between Arsenal and the player that Arsene Wenger thinks is the right man to boost the Gunners up front, so all us Arsenal fans are waiting for is 2016 and the opening of the January transfer window. Yeah right I will be believe it when I see it.

The player in question, according to a Metro report, is the Dinamo Moscow and Russia international star Aleksandr Kokorin. The 24-year old has 10 international goals, including three from eight in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, and Kokorin has scored at least that many in each of his previous three seasons and was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer.

DONE DEAL? Arsenal close on 1st signing of winter

With the January transfer window still over two weeks away from opening, there will be lots of Arsenal transfer rumours doing the rounds of the papers and football websites, especially after Arsene Wenger stated after the victory over Newcastle United yesterday that he was going to strengthen the Arsenal squad.

The Frenchman was referring specifically to the defensive side of things, with a quality centre back surely the priority. But the central midfield players in front of the back four can make all the difference to a team’s defensive solidity and Wenger may be on the verge of sealing the transfer of the player he wants to provide more strength in this area.
