The Arsenal and Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez will hopefully be out of action with his hamstring injury for just a few weeks and is currently expected back in action in time for the busy festive period. Until then the Gunners will have to get by without him and we managed to do just that in the Premier League game against Sunderland.

But Arsenal definitely do not want to lose him for any longer and we especially do not want to see him sign for another club. So the latest Arsenal transfer rumour reported by Metro which claims that the Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has set his sights on our star striker is not what Arsenal fans want to see.

Even worse than seeing Alexis Sanchez complete a transfer to the Bundesliga champions in Germany, however, would be to see him playing for one of our Premier League rivals and the report suggests that this could happen. It says that Guardiola might wait to bid for the Chilean until he knows where he will be next season.

His contract with Bayern is up for renewal and there are reports that he could be set to take over at Manchester United or Man City, so it would be a good idea for Arsene Wenger to get that new contract sorted as quickly as possible don’t you think?
