Arsenal’s Preparation For Next Season: What Needs To Be Done

0

This season the talented Arsenal F.C. did exceedingly well. In fact, they came in third in the Premier League. This high ranking ensures that next season they will have a spot in The Champion’s League. It is important to note however, that this talented team has been ranking in either the third or fourth position for the past few years.

As is to be expected, Arsenal’s fan are quite happy with this consistent high ranking from Arsene Wenger and his players; just like Platinum online. In addition, they’ve brought back the sought after F.A. Cup trophy to their cabinet at The Emirate Stadium.

Still, many of their fans are still hoping that this brilliant team will bring back the ultimate trophy and win the Premium League. The last time that Arsenal won this coveted title was over ten years ago in the 2003/2004 season, when they were undefeated.

So, what will it take for this team to prepare for the new 2015/2016 season and bring back those glory days? Actually, The answer to this question is quite simple. They will have to rebuild their new roster around Mesut Ozil, an amazing player who has played an integral role in Arsenal’s campaign over the past season.

Mesut Ozil is a very talented player who makes accurate passes and has great vision. His ball control skills are superb and he has an amazing ability to create space on the pitch for his teammates to run through and make plays. In terms of his ball distribution ability, Ozil was compared to Zinedine Zidane by Arsenal legend Robert Pires.

When it comes to his attacking ability, Ozil will need someone with speed who is able to follow through and score goals. To achieve this objective, Arsenal has two options; Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez has played phenomenally this season and has scored 16 goals. Not only does he have the speed needed to complement Ozil, he also has great finishing ability.

Walcott, on the other hand, substituted Olivier Giroud in the last two games of the 2014/2015 season to play upfront. The Frenchman scored 14 goals, not a bad feat to be sure. However, he lacks the necessary pace and speed to keep up with a talented player like Ozil, who needs space to distribute. Walcott, who plays on the wing, is an excellent option.

Behind Ozil is Santi Cazorla, a center defensive midfield who is known for his passing ability and speed. This Spaniard is great but not better than Ozil, in terms of passing ability. However, Cazorla is still a better option than Jack Wilsher, who’s behavior and inconsistency have caused a reduction in his performance.

Overall, with teammates like Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, and Santi Cazorla backing him up, Mesul Ozil is free to play great defense and will easily become the principle provider for Arsenal. Arsene Wenger will need a faster forward, like Walcott, in order to unlock Ozil’s true potential when it comes to creating space and passing. With Ozil and Sanchez playing side by side next season, that is if they are free from injuries, Arsenal can become a truly formidable force again.
