Balotelli is coming to Premier League but NOT with Arsenal

It would be just about typical of Arsenal’s luck if Mario Balotelli comes back to the Premier League and all of a sudden starts to behave himself and produce the sort of form he is capable of on a regular basis.

After being strongly linked with the AC Milan striker recently, the Arsenal boss poured cold water on the rumours. It still seemed as if there had been interest from the Gunners, though, and the Italy international was reported to be keen on a return to England.

The Italian media claimed that Balotelli was not happy with the lack of support from his Serie A club after Italy were knocked out of the World Cup finals in Brazil, when he seemed to be made the scapegoat for all the failings of the national team.

If Mario was pushing for a transfer to Arsenal, he must have realised that it was not going to happen and I cannot fault Arsene Wenger for his decision. As talented as the 23-year old is, he does not show it enough and is just too much of a risk for Arsenal.

But Liverpool seem to love having a nutter up front and The Express are reporting that the Anfield club are looking to sign Balotelli if their own resident bad boy Luis Suarez goes to play in La Liga, as seems likely.

Will Arsenal regret not signing the Italian or will Liverpool be the club with the regrets?
