Arsene Wenger has been a fantastic servant to Arsenal Football Club but is the Frenchman’s time at the club about to come to an end? Wenger has failed to inspire confidence at Arsenal since winning the Premier League back in 2004 but back-to-back FA Cup triumphs in the last two years have helped to ease the pressure on his shoulders.
However, the Gunners are on the verge of a trophy-less season and fans are rightfully angry at the lack of action taken by both the club and its manager. Wenger just doesn’t seem to have what it takes to lead Arsenal to the Premier League title and supporters are the ones to suffer most of all. Wenger still gets paid at the end of the day.
Having said that, Wenger almost deserves the right to choose when he leaves Arsenal. The Frenchman is the most successful manager in the club’s history and his achievements cannot be dismissed purely because of their struggles in recent times. A lot of people are quick to forget Wenger’s contributions at Arsenal – especially during the 1990s.
And the Gunners aren’t quite out of this year’s title race just yet. In what has been the craziest Premier League season of all-time, there could be one final twist in the fight for the crown. As of April 8th, Arsenal are 6/1 with Betway Sports and plenty of punters will be looking for the latest offers and promotions to get the best odds possible on Wenger’s men.
Next season, Arsenal can win the Premier League… IF they keep Wenger. While it’s easy to understand the anti-Wenger frustrations, he hasn’t exactly been able to invest heavily in key areas. With a central defender, a world class striker and cover for Francis Coquelin, Arsenal will be there or thereabouts next season and Wenger can win them a 14th league title.
But by the same token, it’s easy to imagine Wenger stepping down from his position at the end of the current campaign. The Frenchman doesn’t need to sit there and receive abuse, he’s done plenty for Arsenal Football Club and can walk away with his head held high. After all, he’s been an inspiration to many young Arsenal players and aspiring managers.
In less than 90 days, Arsenal fans will know whether the iconic Frenchman will remain at the helm or if the club will be appointing a new manager this summer. And while most Gunners supporters are split on Wenger’s position, one thing’s for sure: he will leave the Emirates Stadium as an Arsenal legend – if he wins another Premier League title or not.

yes I think we should give him one more season
as long as he brng in 4 or 5 top players to boost our
NO…NO….This should be his last season with ARSENAL.He can’t do much morethan this.I am ashamed of the ARSENAL BOARD.They aren’t capable of taking decision whether to sack him or not ?But latest disclose by a Board member ,that “Arsenal willnot sack him, instead they allow him to leave as he likes.”This kind of attitude gives wenger to stay long enough as he willnot be sacked.Just look into the case of CHELSEA.Jose Mourinho was sacked although he helped them to win BPL title. Most managers are aware of being sacked if there games affect Boards credibility.
